1.3 technical instruction
This continuous casting line includes melting furnace, holding furnace, crystallizer, tractor, saw, electric control system, hydraulic control system and cooling system.
The 550kw power frequency induction melting furnace and The holding furnace of 200KW power frequency induction furnace with the same body,there is a refined furnace chamber between the melting furnace chamber and holding furnace chamber,it is composed by upper furnace body, inductor, bracket, hydraulic system. The furnace shell of upper furnace body is welded with Q235A steel plate. The bottom have flange connected with inductor assembly. There are hydrocylinder and bearing pedestal at the two sides can tilt furnace 45°. The indutor assembly is composed with shellbody, copper channel, iron core, loop, water jacket and refractory material. the loop is made of flat copper tube coated with double-fibreglass; the water jacket is made of stainless steel plate of 1Cr18Ni9Ti.

1.3.7 Electric control part of horizontal continuous casting line
Electric control part divide into power frequency electric furnace AC control part and auomatic control part:
(1) Melting furnace adopt three-phases. Output working pressure is 90~380V, eight gears to regulating voltage, noload stepness automatic coupling voltage regulator(three phases balance).
(2) Holding furnace use electromagnetic induction voltage regulator, can make load and stepless voltage regulating, it’s easy to control furnace temperature.
(3) the bottons and indictors are from shanghai, all the relay, switches are from famous factory.
b. Automatic control part
(1) Summation of the system
This part include main control PLC, human-machine interface, transducer, actuator, drive element and appurtenances
The horizontal continuous casting line use a SIEMENS PLC as the main controller, all of the transducer datas are access this PLC and all the actuators are controlled by the PLC. The datas after treatment by the PLC will be transferred to actuator and the actuator control the set’s running.
Through exchange datas between human-machine interface and PLC, all of the running state and running parameters can be adjusted.
This system has the following characteristic: use mature SIEMENS products and advanced control system, software developed by ourselves to make the equipment operated easily, the system stable and reliable, compatibility good; PLC main controller and human-machine interface separation layout, it can reduce artificial operation and disturbance for control center from the third part; cost moderate, mainantenance parts and extended parts complete and in plenty supply.
All the transducers and actuators are use high quality elements, the principle is stable, reliable, high precision, installation and mainantenance convenient and price moderate, drive element adopt AC servo system.
All of the electric control equipments are installed in a series of vertical type cabinets, possessing protection equipment and measure.
(2) Main controller
Main controller PLC adopt SIEMENS ,it can coordination with many machine and support external connect veries function extending devices.
(3) Holding furnace
Holding furnace include temperature test and temperature control, the test use a high temperature thermocouple accessed to temperature test module of main controller. Heating voltage and current are both through electric quantity transducer transferred to main controller PLC.
(4) Traction part
Use a set of AC servo electric machine from japan an’chuan, brushless servo amplifier and servo power supply to control running of the hollow bar, including the speed and time of pulling, stop and backward pushing.
Main controller PLC use serial data interface to control the system’s running.
(5) Human-machine interface
This interface use touch screen display of Eview, the display can modify and display running parametres, it has veries alarming signals. Running parameters contain pulling travel, pushing 1 travel, pushing 2 travel, pulling speed, pushing 1speed, pushing 2 speed, pulling stop time, pushing 1stop time, pushing 2 stop time, speed curve and smoothing running linear velocity, etc. alarming signal contain holding furnace temperature overrun, low pressure water supply water pressure low, low pressure water output water temperature high, crystallizer water supply water pressure low, over position and over load of equipments alarming. The interface also has the function of copper liquid in holding furnace temperature record.
1.3.8 Hydraulic system
Hydraulic system include hydraulic system of melting furnace and holding furnace, the plunger pump is from shaoyang.
